South Indian Filter Brewing
Step 1
Dismantle the coffee filter and place it on a well polished, fine and naturally grained wooden table. Place a rustic old-school chalk board in the background. Place the parts of the filter exactly like how it has been shown in the pic above. No! we’re kidding. All you’ll need to do is to get hold of a south indian coffee filter.
Step 2
Add 2 tablespoons (15gms) of coffee powder, into the top compartment of the filter. With the help of a spoon gently spread the coffee powder evenly in to the compartment base. Place the top compartment on the bottom compartment.
Step 3
Place the pierced pressing disc with stem on the coffee powder in the top compartment.
Step 4
Add half cup (100ml) boiling hot water into the top compartment.
Step 5
Cover the filter with its lid and wait for 2-4 mins for the decoction to drip down into the bottom compartment.
